    Thanks for the input

lesson learned, maybe I'll post a good recipe for black beans and bacon that I know, good for hunting trips:

    You need:
A heavy iron skillet, a fire, a few ounces of bacon, two cans of black beans from Walt mart.
    What you do:
Put the skillet over the braces, you know its hot when you pour a little water and it jumps a couple of time and disappears, cut the bacon strips, in small squares and put them over the skillet, brown them, they are ready when the shrink to half their original size, open the cans of beans and pour over bacon, fry the whole mix and smash the beans with spoon, ready.
    Don't forget the chips.

YMMV -- but my EDC stays on my hip and loaded, and there are a couple more loaded.

As to those in the safe, well they are safe.

On the other hand, the odds of this happening to you are probably less than getting hit by lightning.
A good friend of mine WAS hit by lightning (actually the tree he was next to), he survived but this line of argument causes near uncontrollable fits of laughter with him! If you think about it getting mugged on the street is very rare too, but you do carry don't you??
