Ugh. If my future kid ever does that and I find out about it, I'll politely ask him for the handgun, demonstrate how to drop the magazine and clear the chamber, show him how to verify that it's clear, and then safely pistol-whip him with the unloaded weapon until the lesson sinks in.
Ya know, I'm sitting here reading and replying to this thread with my G26 holstered appendix carry style, and oh yeah, she's loaded.
Being that I'm seated and clearly covering myself with a loaded firearm has got me thinking that maybe that's not the best way to carry while seated. While I'm sure the trigger is safe and secure, I am breaking a major safety rule while having a loaded firearm on me. Wouldn't my choice for carry style put me in the epic fail camp as well?

That was my first reaction. Seeing that stupid kid wearing a destroyed uniform with my proud service displayed had me pissed off before I hit the play button. He's an embarrassment to the AF.
