Glock needs to sue him right back for being stupid enough to leave the gun in the back seat where the child could get a hold of it.

Maybe not! Maybe the judge is hoping that this case will go on forever so idiot's lawyer fees become astronomical and the guy representing him can never be paid becuse they both die of old age, neither getting a dime. Oh well, wishful thinking. I guess the laws that place the responsibility on the negligent are tossed aside in denial. Not a lick of shame!![]()

It's such a shame how many people refuse to accept personal responsibility! The gun didn't magically discharge a round from the backseat!
I was wondering too about not only the gun being in the backseat with a small child, but how in the world the child could have gotten to it if in a car seat! I know I use 5 point car seats much longer than many others, but at 3 years old I can't figure it out...
I volunteer for the Jury & I swear I wont let the fact the LEO is incompetent & careless play a factor in my decision.
Everyone has an opinion & this is just mine sorry if it offends anyone.
ALSO I don't HATE LEOs I just Hold them to a Higher Standard of the LAW & nothing anyone says will change my opinion on this
Glock manufactured the weapon that he was shot with. Glock continued to manufacture this weapon despite an extensive history of unintentional discharges due to the light trigger pull of the weapon. Without reviewing the case, I'll take a wild guess that the officer's attorney will argue along those lines. The real loser in this situation is Glock. They have no option but to continue to pay their legal staff to keep defending this thing, no matter how long it drags on. To capitulate and settle out of court in an attempt to cut their losses would only open them up for more lawsuits by lawyers all too eager to see if they too, could hit the jackpot.

Stupid should hurt.
In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

Only in Kommiefornia!!!!. It`s La La Land out there. Nothing makes sense.
Wonder why he isn't in trouble for:
1) leaving a child unattended in a vehicle during the summer.
2) leaving a child unattended with your weapon
3) Karma is a *****
