    CLINTON A 22-year-old Clinton man said he accidentally shot himself in the face Monday night with a high-powered rifle, according to a report.
    Oh, you gotta be kidding me. An accident like this while "cleaning" his rifle? Boy, stupid knows no bounds.

    That has become the excuse of choice to try to keep some self-respect. The people who have no clue about guns will buy it, but of course we know, and recognize it for what it is - STUPIDITY.

    Yes, and usually shortly followed by, "..and then it just went off."

    People REALLY ought to get in the habit of cleaning magazines and chambers first. The order of priority seems to have slipped quite often.

    Wow, when i clean my high powered rifle the bolt and magazine floor plate are lying on the table. First and foremost, plus i dont store that one with a full magazine for obvious reasons....
