My old police partner asked me to start his little eight year old daughter shooting pistol.
Old model Single Six and CCI mini caps.
A large metal coffee can for the target.
To this day I can hear her happy laugh and that big grin when the Single Six went blap and the can went CLANK and wobbled a little!
She was used to seeing her Daddy handle, load and unload his model 19 Smith and she had dry fired it some, so she already had some safe handling training.
I took her home and she must have asked me twenty times if we could go shoot again, and she went bouncing in the house yelling "Daddy! Daddy! I shot some baby boolits!"
"Deine Papieren bitte?" or "ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ !"
