    Update!!

The G Man is alive and well!!

I don't know if he's out of the woods yet though. He's on some new meds and he's bounding around the house again.

He's still pushing 15 though. This scare made us make sure we spend as much quality time with him in the time he has left.

Here is the G Man in all his glory!!

I am so glad to hear your happy news! The G-Man looks like a fine fellow indeed! May the wait be long and your times be merry! I am sure he knows how very much you guys love him, and that you have only the very best of love and care on offer.

I'm sorry to hear he's been sick but glad to hear he's doing better now. Lots of character in that face. Hope he's out of the woods....

    That's great!

That's great news. Thanks for updating. I was sad to read it the first time around. Hope he pulls through. My in-laws' cat got a 2-weeks to live diagnosis about a year ago and pulled through after a simple saline treatment.

    Wow! That is great news!
From my previous post, I thought that he was already gone, but the comeback is a refreshing change...I hate losing pets.
I know that you must be very grateful for this reprieve.
    Go Gus...good looking dog, too!

Quite a handsome guy there. He's lucky to you to take care of him. Glad to hear he's doing better. Give him a couple of rubs and a hug or two from my wife and I. While we have cats now we still love dogs. Keep us updated from time to time.

Glad to hear that Gus is doing better.

Did the doc tell you what caused the nose bleeds?

Thanks Patti, and thanks to everyone else out there that shared our concerns about the G Man. Your support has helped get us through a rough time. Nice to know there are great people out there.

BTW, he had a little bleed this morning which I was able to control and stop.

Patti, the vet is just kind of shaking her head. She says dogs are not normally prone to nose bleeds unless there's a tumour up in his sinuses. They ruled that out with X rays and a look up his nose through a scope.

As I said earlier, he's not out of the woods yet. We are watching him closely. Fortunately Mrs GB is now home for the weekend and can keep an eye on him.

Without further adieu, here's another pic of the G Man in his natural habitat.

I expect most of us who have dogs expected to hear it was a tumor in the sinuses, just because nosebleeds and tumors are so closely associated. That there isn't a tumor is even more puzzling. I hope you figure out what's up.
