I saw my wife go through the stress that is preparing for the bar exam a couple years ago and it is certainly something you should be proud of!
What sort of field are you looking at getting into?

My sincerest congratulations on your achievements.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
When people ask me, "What kind of lawyer do you want to be?", I respond "The employed kind."
In the current economic market, any job I can get I will take. The only area of the law I really dislike and would not want to work in is tax law. Barring that, I like all of the different areas and would be willing to work in any of them.

Gotcha. Market was even pretty bad a couple years ago when my wife was looking, I could only imagine what it's like now. Eventually got in as a prosecutor and has really enjoyed it, good benefits, interesting work, doesn't pay what private would pay but it's stable hours with no worries about billable hours.
Good luck with the search!
Congratulations, sgtd.
You did good!

An attitude like yours is what made America great. You went out and worked for your dream. Congrats on what you have accomplished.
We will be much better off when we learn to deal with things as they really are, instead of how we wish them to be!

Just a bit of advice....or insight as far as which path you take. Family court can be really damaging to the soul. Criminal can no doubt be bad, with the tragic crimes that are committed. However dealing with children is on a whole new level.
Regardless, it seems from your response your sick of talking about that. So I apologize for asking, I was just curious. Best of luck in your endeavors, I've got a Cousin Vinny, I'll give you his number if you ever want any advice.
WoHooo!!!
And passed on the first go around
Good luck.I second the NRA help

Great job!! I wish that I could find that much dedication.

Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME.
Congratulations sgtD!
Way to dedicate yourself to something, and see it through. Much respect for this, and I *personally* needed your story, today.
