I am very sorry for your loss. My special prayers are with you. I have parents in their 70's and I find myself getting closer to them each and every day that comes and goes. I keep focusing on the times we have here and now as well as the memories. God bless you and your family..

Lost my mom just two months ago, and the pain is still closer to the surface than I care to admit.
Nothing that anyone says will ease the loss, but knowing that others are lifting you up in prayer can help you make it through one day at a time. May God's endless love and peace surround you and your family.
What the **** - How did I end up on this soapbox again?!?!?
Sorry to hear this news. You doing alright?
My wife and I are doing ok. Thank you and everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers. I lost my Dad three years ago to dementia also. I never had any children so I made myself available to care for both Mom and Dad the last 10 years. I will be turning 50 in a couple weeks and will be starting all over again. I have not worked for anyone in many years and I do feel like an outsider looking in. It was an honor to care for my folks and yet it was a curse to see them both with dementia and both fell and broke their left hip. As many other folks know, trauma will accelerate dementia and it makes a bad situation horrific.
Again, thanks to all. John
Very sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my mother last September from lung cancer, so I know how you're feeling. Prayers have been sent, and I wish you the best.

John - Sorry to hear about your Mother.
It may sound trite - but she's in a better place.
You'll see your folks again some day.
Sometimes on a clear day, I can see into the future with this spotting scope.
I am familiar, as well, with watching a family member with dementia. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Deepest sympathies. Lost my dad this time last year and this forum spoke wonderfully for my loss. My dad also had dementia and I believe it truly is a relief that she is free from that thief of life. Praying for you and your family.
