Mom Died
After a long bout with dementia that was accelerated by a broken hip, mom passed away peacefully at a hospice center here in Asheville, NC. I have touched on her troubles in a few posts this year and received such warm and heart-felt replies from forum members. Thank you and God bless. John

Very hard to hear that brother.... Heartfelt condolences and I've said a prayer for her soul and for your family.
May you have very fond memories and that she'll live on in your hearts.
God Bless You.

My condolences, sorry for your loss
You may not like guns. You may choose not to own one. That is your right.
You might not believe in God. That is your choice.
However, if someone breaks into your home at 3AM the first two things you are going to do are:
1) Call someone with a gun.
2)Pray they get there in time." - A wise man

I'm truly sorry for your loss. My prayers are going out for you and your family.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I'll pray for you both and for your Moms.
I lost my dad a couple years ago, and my wife's mother has stage 4 breast cancer now.
It is my belief that we will all meet again in Heaven, where the ills of this world will no longer be present. That is my wish for you and yours.
