Sorry for your loss! Just remember all of the good times you gave him, he could not have done any better anywhere else. You gave him a good life, and he gave you all the love he had.

Gunny, that was really nice! Thanks!

I'm sorry for your loss Jon. Remember the good times and the love that you both had for each other.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Max was certainly a good looking guy, and undoubtedly a great dog. I know you'll miss him. You have my sincere sympathies.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. It's amazing how much a pet can become a loved member of the family. We lost a dear pet last year, and I'm not sure that I'm over it yet. Sometime soon, you'll find another that will enter your heart, but it never replaces the one you lost, it just takes over where the other left off.

I am sorry for your loss. I suspect I will be making a post like yours within a short time and just hate thinking about it. Hang in there, your friends here have your back.

Very sorry for your loss. They come into our lives for such a brief time, but the memories are priceless. I lost one of my girls (15 yoa Greyhound) last year. She had been with me (after she retired) for 12 years.

Always one of the toughest decisions to make, especially when you are so attached to your pet. I have had to do it a few times and it never ever gets any easier.

Just dwell on the good times and the life they shared with you.

    Sorry for your loss.

I once too had a dog named Spot and after My wife at her poor attempt to clean the house sprayed spot remover on the carpet.

Now I can not find the dog!!

Poor attempt to lighten the mood. Best wishes.
