Lost One of My Best Canine Friends Today

Today we had to put down our shepherd/labrador after failing health. He was 14 years/5 months old today, and had a wonderful life.

Max was our friend, guardian & protector and will be sorely missed.

Sorry to hear Max had to go on his final walk. He sounds like a great companion and friend.

    I hate these stories...
I know your pain, and I am truly sorry for your loss.
There have been several in the last few months, and it brings back memories (for many of us) of those unquestioning friendships that we never forget.

We lost a white german shepherd this week due to old age. It's hard to lose them.

    Just never forget them.

Very sorry to hear that Jon. It's hard to put into works the feeling one gets from the unconditional love and devotion a canine pet offers us.

So the loss of that animal hits us very hard and emotionally.

I feel your grief buddy and hope it passes soon. The spirit of your pal will live on in your memories.
