My dad died a few hours ago.

My dad died of a heart attack a few hours ago. Just got back from the hospital a few minutes ago. He had a history of high blood pressure and heart problems, but it's still too soon, he was only 54. He lost his mom at 9 and his dad at 15. I'm glad he was here long enough to raise me as much as he did (I'm 20).

It going to be a painful summer. Prayers would be really appreciated.

Prayers sent. My dad passed about 3 years ago, I still miss him very much, but it does get easier with time. The good memories help a lot.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It is a painful thing to got through. I know from experience. I lost my Dad 2 days before Christmas last year. Stay strong and be thankful for the time you had with him.

Very sorry to hear about that. Yes, it's going to be a rough summer no doubt.

You have a lot of friends here who will be sending prayers for your family.

I'd like to express my heartfelt sympathy to you and the rest of your family. You'll surely have lots of fond memories to keep your fathers spirit alive in your heart.
