RIP J. God Rest Your Soul.

Lost another coworker. He was shot last night in Juarez Mexico. He was out too late and was murdered.

Juarez Mex is next to El Paso and is a party city for those under 21. But he was hanging with some wild kids and got caught in the violence.

    J. was a first generation American. His family are 3rd gen. boot makers over in Mex. He was high school educated, well kept, spoke great english, shaping up to be a good righteous person. J. was a very hard working young man. He has worked his way up from worse, most labor intensive work here to a skilled position here in the company in just a few short years. He came in every day at 7am and worked his butt off. He was not even 21 yrs yet. I'm sorry his life was cut short.

Thank for giving me a place to write this out. I just needed to get it off my chest so I can get back to work with a better disposition.

I'm ok, thanks. Just sad, frustrated, maybe a little scared. We all are over here.
Spoke with his uncle. He was just outside a house drinking some beers with a handful of other kids. Too hot to be inside. Someone drove up and shot them all. The shot his damn face off so he couldn't be identified. shot his face off.

That is tragic. It makes one wonder what kind of person(s) could do such a thing and why?

Sorry to see loss of a young life. Just goes to show there are people who are the victims of all this drug violence.

Now ya know why I don't go to Mexico and all the "WINTER TEXANS" that go to progresso for cheap margaritas and claim it's very secure will someday be saying OMG they just started shooting all the white people,It's never happened before

Sad to have the life of a good person end so early and so violently.

The law enforcement need to send in robo-cop to clean up all the border towns before American citizens should feel safe.Even if you are Mexican- American, I don't believe you fit in enough to be over there. The thugs/gangs/knuckledragging drug cartels do not discriminate between who to shoot, and who not to.

Again, sorry to hear of a senseless tragedy!
Please try to use his death as a learning tool for all good honest people you know, to NOT go to Mexico for any reason.

People need to boycott mexico, so as to force THEIR government to do something about the chaos going on there.
If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.

People down here on the border that use to go to Mexico, no longer go.They had a piece on the news that Mexican nationals were buying property on the US side so they could get their families away from the violence and their kids could attend school here away from the violence there
