I'm sorry man. Putting down our last dog was about the toughest thing I've done. We love them enough to do it, and be there for them.

Sorry to hear about your loss. You should never be ashamed of crying over the loss of a dear loyal friend. It is because we love them so much that it hurts to lose them. Many of us have been there and many will be again. Time will ease the pain along with the search for another friend when the time is right. We are here for you when ever you need to talk about it. Take care.

Been there more times than I like to think about. Don't worry about the tears. It just shows how much she meant to you and how she touched your life. The time to worry is when you have to do it and there are no tears shed.

As GunnyBunny suggested, go to the Rainbow Bridge website and take solace in the fact that one day you'll be reunited with her.

Sorry, I had to do the same thing 5 days before Christmas I had to tell the kids she was with the vet. and all I could do was fall apart driving back to the house and pull myself together before entering the house. She was like our oldest child!

    Very sorry for your loss.

I know your pain...had to put down our Rhodesian Ridgeback last September, and he was the best dog we'd had in 40 years.
That trip to the vet left guilt and a big hole in our hearts.
