Another fallen Marine.
This morning, my wife got a message from our friend. Her husband, a AH-1 helicopter pilot (and friend of mine), was shot down in Helmand Province, Afghanistan the other day. Maj James Weis, USMC leaves a wife and two boys (my boys best friends). They just moved to Camp Pendleton a couple of months ago...

Major Weis received the ultimate promotion and will now be standing guard over the streets of Heaven. Deepest sympathy and condolences for his family's loss. A sad day for us, but a great day for those who serve in heaven.

RIP Major Weis...May the Lord comfort your loved ones and friends in their time of grief and may He continue to watch over those military personnel serving this great country, especially those in harms way.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I hate hearing this.
I wish I were in charge over there.
Its time to carpet bomb the whole damn place one morning and pack up and be home for evening dinner.
To hell with Washington anymore
The debate between Socialism and Capitalism is only over because Capitalism was bound, gagged, and locked up in a deep, dark dungeon around about the time the Fed was established and income taxes started being levied. Capitalism didn’t lose. Capitalism was never even allowed to show up for the debate—because if it had been, it would have won hands down. The best way for the Socialists to assure victory has always been to cheat.
