    Wow. This is absolutely tragic.

Please do pass along information on the funeral arrangements when it becomes available. Perhaps a group donation from the forum crowd here to a firearms related organization or something similar would be in order?

Is there an address to direct condolences to the family?

Bob was definitely one of the good guys, and gave of his knowledge and experience freely.

    He will be sorely missed.

    Matt

Prayers and condolences to his family and friends. Never an easy time. God be with all of them.

    Words To Taps

    Day is done,
    gone the sun,
    From the hills,
    from the lake,
    From the skies.
    All is well,
    safely rest,
    God is nigh.
    Go to sleep,
    peaceful sleep,
    May the soldier
    or sailor,
    God keep.
    On the land
    or the deep,
    Safe in sleep.
    Love, good night,
    Must thou go,
    When the day,
    And the night
    Need thee so?
    All is well.
    Speedeth all
    To their rest.
    Fades the light;
    And afar
    Goeth day,
    And the stars
    Shineth bright,
    Fare thee well;
    Day has gone,
    Night is on.

    Thanks and praise,
    For our days,
    'Neath the sun,
    Neath the stars,
    'Neath the sky,
    As we go,
    This we know,
    God is nigh.

    Rest in peace, friend.

I'm totally shocked and deeply saddened by Bob's passing. I'm grateful though that his suffering was brief and he's gone to a much better place. Farewell Bob, may God keep you near.

Quoted from MattLarson:Please do pass along information on the funeral arrangements when it becomes available. Perhaps a group donation from the forum crowd here to a firearms related organization or something similar would be in order?

I too would appreciate knowing the final arrangements if any of you get word. I'd also be more than willing to make a donation in Bob's name if there's interest in that.

Rest in Peace Bob. May your last flight be into the heavenly kingdoms runway. At the end of that runway you will find our Lord & Savior waiting with open arms to greet you and give you your heavenly wings.
