Ti.
Very sade news, and may his family and friends have all the strength in the world. RIP Bob.
Bob's at peace now. He will be missed.
I'm sure Heaven has a Beautiful Range!!
Bout sums it up for me. Rest in Peace, Bob.Quote:
I know your life
On earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain
You werent afraid to face the devil
You were no stranger to the rain
Chorus:
Go rest high on that mountain
Son, you work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin
Love for the father and son
Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered round your grave to grieve
I wish I could see the angels faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing
Matt
This is devastating news!
My sincere condolences to Bob's Family and Friends (including us here) on this great loss.
At least he's now at peace.
I noticed that he was online yesterday morning and hoped that he was getting better. :frown:
You will see his account logged on from time to time as we have asked his friend to log in and keep us informed by posting in the staff forum. I am going to be away from the forum for a few days starting now, so will not be able to pass on anything sent to me in the coming days, but hopefully one of the other Moderators will also receive information....
:frown: rest in peace.
Thanks for the heads up Bumper, take care while you're gone.
Jack
I am truly sorry to hear of Bob's passing.
Wow! What a shock learning of Bob's passing. Me and the rest of my families thoughts and prayers are going out to his family and friends. I'm sure he is flying high above the clouds.
A dear and loyal friend/brother-in-arms/teacher has left us.
Bob always believed that anyone could do anything, if only they believed in themselves.
Jimmy, I know you will recognize these words....Bobby is on the Express!
"Only you have the power within you.
Just believe in yourself -
The sea will part before you,
Stop the rain, turn the tide.
If only you use the power within you
Needn't beg the world
To turn around and help you
If you draw on what you have within you
Somewhere deep inside."
Rest In Peace Brother, I'll miss the long chats and brainstroming! You did make a difference!

Sad news. Rest in peace, Bob.
OMG - late to forum today and I see this.
No wonder every time I have tried to call over last few days I got the answer machine - just kept assuming he was in therapy or some such - but did wonder if it was anything worse.
I am totally devastated - it is a bitter blow. Here is a guy I had never met but with whom I enjoyed many conversations on the phone - I bought his old 686 last year - well, that gun will now be very special to me.
Despite no face to face we both felt a strong kinship and I do know as I have mentioned in our other thread - just how knocked out he was with all our wishes and cards. He must have known in these late days how many folks were rooting for him and how loved he was - that is good.
My biggest deep ache right now is that I could not say goodbye - silly huh? But that is how I feel - wishing I could just have had a chance to say thx for the friendship and rest in peace.
My only one consolation is simply this - with the degree of illness Bob had and despite his will to fight - this has at least spared him the hell of sustained treatment, which would not have been much fun.
I grieve because he has been taken - and yet the other side of the coin is he has gone to better things and that I have to feel relieved about. The loss is mine/ours - for him peace.
Bob - you affected my life buddy - even from a distance - and will be remembered fondly.
Jimmy and Judy - my heart goes out to you - you have lost a great guy.
I didn't know Bob, but have read everyone of his postings. God Bless is family. We'll miss ya Bob!
Rest in peace, Bob. We will miss you.
