My condolences to the family.

If there is a collection, I'm sure there will be notice on here about it.

I also thought I should ask if the family might need a collection. I know there are a few of his close personal friends that can let us know if they need anything.

jar - to best of my knowledge - Bob's ''family'' was quite simply Jimmy his best friend, and Judy.

I do not remember him mentioning any actual family at all, as I guess his folks had long passed on and not even sure he had any brothers or sisters. Otherwise all I can think of is that he has an ex wife somewhere.

I guess if any collection were to occur, then like as not he would have liked some funds to go to Cancer Research.

To correct what I mentioned earlier - I had thought Bob had no immediate family but Robo (ejroberson751) put me straight on that.

His Mother is still living and also it seems a sister too - so even more folks to grieve - I add my deepest sympathies to them also.

I, too, am a late logger today. Simply devastating news. Having just recently become a moderator and received Bob's congratulations only about a week ago, I was looking forward to his sharing his wisdom and experience as a senior moderator with me and with the other new moderators. Now to find that he has been cut off before his time. We will miss him. The world is lessened by the loss.
