    Robert E. Ford (acparmed) 1952 - 2006

I just received word that Bob Ford, known to most of you by "acparmed", a friend and Sr Moderator here at CombatCarry.com has passed away from complications related to his recently diagnosed lung cancer. I have quoted a PM from his personal friend, Jimmy and an email I received from Judy, another close friend of his.

This news comes as a shock to us here at CombatCarry.com. I can't express how hard this news has come to me personally as well as the staff here at CombatCarry.com.

    God bless you, Bob....

    Hello:

I am sorry to have to write this letter but I must inform you that Bob Ford aka acparmed, died today in the hospital at 3:30 PM pacific time from complications related to lung cancer.

I will keep you informed regarding all arrangements.

I know how proud he was to be a member of your forum. He was also gratified that he was highly thought of here. On his behalf, I would like to thank all of you for the many wonderful hours he spent with you. It was a major and most enjoyable part of his life.

I wish you all well, as would he.

    Be Safe,

    Jimmy Lockett
My best friend Bob (acparmed) passed away this afternoon at 3:30 PST. I am devastated as I am sure you all will be to hear this - but I didn't know if anyone would contact you.

He was so very, very grateful for all your support and cards. He really loved this site and didn't realize how many people cared about him.

He will be missed more than I can ever say.

I loved him - he was my best friend and I even talked to him this morning. I'm so grateful for that

    Sincerely,

    Judy Stevens

My thoughts as well and I'm sure of many more, both here and among those who knew him personally. At least we here at the forum will still have his multitude posts, with their experience and wisdom, to fall back on for many years to come.
