    Yikes!

And yes, prayers mean alot to me. I really appreciate it.

Any advise on the the boredom? Its almost 2am and I'm still awake, which is VERY unlike me. Definitely been messing with my sleep cycle.

Thanks for asking! I'm just now starting regular PT (the real "fun"), my third visit will be tomorrow. I'm just now bending it 40 degrees, and I'm using an electric muscle machine that flexes my leg muscles nicknamed "the russian" starting tomorrow too.

I can walk with the aid of a cane, and wearing a "bregg brace" that keeps my leg fully locked. Currently my wife has to drive me to PT, I have to lay my leg along the backseat of her Toyota, and my mother babysits my daughter while we go

Took some pics on my cell right after my staples came out, used a tube of Carmex for size reference. If you look close, you can see where they cut along my old scar, and the old scar keeps going.

(I don't know how to resize these, so I'm sorry their so big.)

Oh yeah. The big pics really show the detail, I see the old scar.

    Memories.

Take care and keep up the good work.

On a related topic, I just got one of those little tiny netbooks. It is easy to carry around room to room or outside the house where there is wifi. Under $400.

When my husband had some similar stuff going on, I would put a cooler next to his chair, so he could have refreshments without getting up. I'd put little pudding cups in there, fruit, sodas, water, sandwiches, etc. He really liked that and it made me feel like I was helping somewhat in a seemingly unhelpable situation.

    Keep posting.

    LOL. Thanks,...

I was supposed to be back to work by the end of september, but I'm still out,...so money is tight. I'm getting increasingly concerned about my job, b/c the doctors have extended by "back to work estimate" several times. Im getting a bit restless,...I have to mainly stay in bed, or on the couch (per the doctor) and have some home PT to do while laying/sitting with my leg up. So there is only SO MANY movies, websites, tv shows,..I can watch/check out Lol.

Currently bending my leg 60 degrees, but when I walk I keep my knee brace "locked" so my left knee is straight.

Physical Therapy is a little painful, but managaeble. I get hooked to a machine called "the russian" that flexes my quad muscle...Next weeks PT should be a big deal, right now I can bend my leg 60 degrees(heel down, slide my heel IN), and Im going to be attempting to "lift against gravity" for the first time. (In other words, if you are sitting in a chair, with your knees bent, and you raise your feet up so your leg becomes straight. Thats what they call "lift against gravity".)

UPDATE: Just got home from seeing the Doc/Surgeon. Now I won't be going back to work until AT LEAST December. PT went well though.

We used to call the guy the Physical Terrorist.

If you need a quick laugh while hanging out check out the utube of David after the Dentist. It's a little kid that just had a tooth pulled. hilarious.

    Good luck.
