Truely inspiring..... well over a HUNDRED THOUSAND people, all peaceful, not particularly political and a message for America, it's founding, and the soldiers who have rendered their lives for all of us.

Recent events and bad economic times have woken a lot of people up.....good to know that so many concerned citizens can gather and have a peaceful demonstration of their freedoms......God Bless the U.S.A., its people and especially those who defend both...

My daughter and her boyfriend drove up from Texas for it. She was sending me text messages all day.

Restoring "honor" in America is going to be a heck of a challenge. Glen Beck is an honorable man, and he has millions of people now thinking about how to get America back on track.
This rally shows just how many Americans are starting to wake up.

I have no idea what he means by restoring honor. Dishonorable people such as the TV talking mouths certainly can't accomplish it.

Yeah man, I agree 100%. Beck is so right when he says we need to focus on key principles like honor and integrity.

From the accounts I've read from people on the ground at the event, attendance was under 100,000. Much of the space was taken up by blankets, lots of open space - they weren't packed. Actual number is looking like 85,000, which is still pretty good for the crazy set.

Take America back from whom? Restore honor lost to whom?

Reports also state that nobody was listening to the speeches, and the best responses generated had all the enthusiasm of a golfer's clap.

I watched a bit of Whitestock 2010 streaming online, saw Palin, Beck, and it was insanely boring - nothing but tripe and platitudes. No "action plan," no summary of the nation's challenges nor ideas on how to address them. Just "believe in God, have faith in America, you are the difference..." etc.

What accounts? The source needs to be considered.

The who is answered in the video. The who is you. (all of us) It is about getting back to the basics and ideals our country was founded on. We have strayed far away from it. The further we stray, the deeper the hole we dig ourselves in. That is the point.

I think what he did this weekend was noble, but I liked him a lot more when he was at CNN.

New York Daily News... one must consider their sources. For those lost in the context of the conversation, read the comments on the story at NYDN... one does not need to read very far to get an idea of the readership and the voters in that poll.
