I just sold a older iPad to the grandfather of a austic boy. He said they are using the heck out of it in classes, etc. Seems to be helping quite a bit.

My sister worked with two autistic brothers of a family friend. I will be telling my sister about it. It's definitely a worthy cause.

Thanks oneshot! It is appreciated more than I can tell you. I have been a little disappointed in the response I have gotten with this. I had hoped to be able to buy the iPad by now and in fact I think I have only gotten about $55.
I have posted it on my FaceBook page as well as several other gun forums I check from time to time. Seems very few people think this is a worthy cause. I will keep trying though. I'm not giving up.

just put in 20.00. Damn wish I would have known sooner I could have helped with this. I'll see what I can do. Beside the site is there any more info I can give to people that want to potentially donate? I have the link to the FOX news story and the link to the site but I think if there were more of a response if you got at least some pictures up of your nephew and a bit more backstory. also yeah I am seeing some on Amazon used for as low as 375.00 maybe we don't have to hit that 800 mark. I mean he wouldn't have wifi but he would have an iPad! :)
