UPDATE: Pink Lady's Mother at Home

Pink Lady's mother is at home finally. Hospice got an ambulance service to bring her home Thursday.
She got home about 2:30 pm Thursday. They are providing meds at no cost, and are working on
getting her medicaid approved.

We have been spending a lot of time over there. Pink Lady is taking real good care of her. She is
making sure that the bills get covered, and assistance is all getting applied for. She's also giving meds
and keeping track of when she's had which ones.

They basically just have her on liquid forms of Morphine and Lorazepam for pain and to relax her.
These also help to keep her blood pressure up and help her breathing since she is more relaxed.

So she is home where she wants to be and is being kept as comfortable as possible.

It sucks when about all you can do is try to keep them as comfortable as possible knowing that there isn't going to be a happy ending.I went thru this with both my parents,so I know how heart wrenching it can be.

Prayers still coming. Just remember, that ending all of her pain and suffering may be a response to one of her prayers. God be with you all, I know it's hard for those of us left to deal with life, after the loss of someone we love.

Take care of your mom, and treasure the beautiful memories.

She looked like a very loving/caring/good mother.

You're in my thoughts. Both my folks were under Hospice care, which was wonderful. They were caring loving sensitive folks.

Love the photo. Our moms are always with us, any place any time.
