Congradulations to you Sir. Hand Salute from an old Vet. Thank you for doing what you do, keeping our great country free. By the way you praise your NCO's and Jr. Officers, it seems to me you deserve the Promotion. Leadership goes down the ranks, and it looks like you did a fine job training them. Best of luck in you future.

Congratulations....Most people getting to where you are would never acknowledge their subordinates...especially the NCOs. Very well put. Sounds like you deserve it.

Reminds me of the movie "We Were Soldiers" when the LTC informed his junior officers that the Sgt Major would report only to him. He knew that Sgt Major was his right hand man and a lot of the reason for his success.

    Thank you for your service.

I've never met a NCO or Officer who made promotion on schedule who was worth a ****. All my great leaders had to wait a bit, because they weren't spineless 'yes men'. CONGRATS, and Thank You for your long service.

But a lot of the credit goes to my NCOs and junior officers who made the missions happen, and the senior NCOs who gave me the mentoring to make me a better leader.

I wanted to share with the folks here, because when I'm not working or with family, you guys are here.
Thank you for acknowledging your NCOs. Congratulations!

Congratulations on your promotion. As a retired Senior NCO I found the best officers were the ones who would listen to their NCO's. That doesn't mean they always did what was suggested, but it showed they were willing ot listen and get inputs. That means a lot to your men. If you have your NCO's backing and support, you've already won half the battle. As you are well aware piss off your NCO's and your going to fail in your mission. They will make sure of it!

    BTW...When's the promotion party!
