Ouch! Hope you bounce back quickly, being stuck off my feet for the better part of a summer was one of my least favorite years as a teenager when I sprained and fractured my ankle.

Thanks to all. Hopefully I will heal super quick like I did with my knee surgery. It stinks, but it beats a poke in the eye with a stick. Hobbling much slower in this boot/cast thing I'll work on my SA more and carry a little higher capacity and a second gun. I'm of the "get the heck out of dodge" philosophy...it may take me a little longer to cut a trail, but I will prepare for that as well.

Sorry, to hear it. I have been dealing with a broken foot(jones fracture) since April 2nd. It sucks, I have to have surgery for it. Good luck! I hope you get over it quick.

True if you step on a hotwheels VW bug...but a convertible hot rod with a metal engine sticking through the hood??? Ouch!!! I now take a long look at little cars before I buy them and try to imagine how bad they would hurt to step on barefooted before I buy them. Flat or rounded only...no more engines sticking up.

Thank goodness I haven't experienced that one....sounds excruciating. I imagine one might even make up a few new very bad words.

    Get well soon!

When I had an air cast, I could put my foot in my mouth; I just couldn't get it out.

To be quite honest, the broken foot has hurt way worse than the knee surgery did. Throbbing like someone driving a gutter nail through it. I over did it this weekend, but late last night after a thorough icing down something popped and it hasn't been quite as bad today. Maybe I've turned the corner here.

Well I didn't go to wife school and learn anything about how to injure my husband but IMO I would think that, that wouldn't be a good idea because us wives are usually the one's that play the part of nurse maid for our men. So why would we do this? I just think it is easier to blame us than tell anyone how clumsy you are. Well this is just my opinion.

LOL. My wife is an RN, so unless I have a colapsed lung or something she says there's nothing really wrong with me.

Awe, well you poor thing. My husband would have already been waited on hand and foot.. Well we have just started riding bicycles and I had never been on one before in my life. So I am surprised that I haven't wrecked and broken anything yet. I wish you a speedy recovery, and watch out for those suitcases. LOL
