Bob "acparmed" Ford search

I never met Bob Ford (acparmed) in person. When he had been diagnosed with stage IV cancer, it was almost too late to take the opportunity to meet him in person. When he passed away, it was too late. I will always regret that I missed that opportunity.

After he had been diagnosed it seemed we had something else in common. I wrote him a PM about my beating cancer and offered him encouragement. We spoke many times over the next few weeks. He told me on more than one occasion that "cancer came looking for a victim but didn't even find the right zip code". We made plans to meet when he got back from Tulsa where he was going to have his treatment plan drawn up. He was determined that he would beat it. Despite his determination, he lost his battle with cancer on June 24th, 2006. The forum lost a great Senior Moderator with a lot of wisdom to share in guns, tactics, concealed carry and life in general. We lost a friend.
