And "Gunpowder and Lead," too, according to my 5 and 1/2 year-old, who really took a liking to the Miranda Lambert song of the same title. "I'm made of sugar and spice and everything nice, plus lots of love and butterflies, and gunpowder and lead!" - actual quote from my little Anna.

    limatunes and JD, congrats!

Hey, do they still sell "bubbles?" I think that's what they're called....it's like a onesie, but the front of it trails down to a cute little skirt. I (not my wife, -ME-) used to *LOVE* having Anna in those, for the summer. I used to love them so much that my wife thought it was so adorable that she got Anna a few different ones, just to make me extra happy.

    Congrats.

You can dress a little girl in boy hand-me-down clothes...but not so much the other way 'round.

Congrats! We have the same deal around here - older boy and younger girl. Variety is nice!

I admit to already being terrified of the teenage years..."hey son, before you take my little girl out, let me show you my shotgun..."

IC a girl carrying a 1911 while strolling thru the cornfields of Iowa in about 21 years 6 months from now.
I carry to protect myself and my loved ones from the BG's. Not to solve societies problems. That said: if more carried the deterrent would only have a positive overall effect on those problems.

When you're carrying one in the chamber, the caliber is secondary. Take care and God bless.

    Congrats on the girl.
