Hey Lima, I'm just back from vacation and missed this until now. Congrats on the baby girl! You will love her big time once she arrives, it's nice having one of each, you don't miss out on anything that way. Of course, you'll have to change her name, "Reload" doesn't quite do it for a girl! Pray everything goes as planned.

Thank you so much, everyone!
We are still kind of in shock. I am really trying to get used to calling her a "she." JD was walking around all night last night in a fog and every now and then he'd stop and say, "A girl." LOL.
I hope and pray we'll be the kind of Mom and Dad she needs to be a strong, confident, kick-ass WOMAN! Just like I hope we are the kind of parents who produce a strong, confident, kick-ass and take names MAN!

Yea Limatunes! Pleased to hear it for you and JD!
How are you going to console big brother when she outshoots him? It'll happen you know.
My wife and I just had two old stinkin' boys. Never had a daughter. Don't know if I'd be tough enough to raise a girl. Our 22 month granddaughter is a fine consolation prize though.

"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."
