I kinda have a full plate...
I kinda have a full plate here ... I take care of my 2 year old granddaughter full time. My wife had rotator cuff repair on her right shoulder on the 6th...Have been caring for her as she will be in full shoulder sling for a month and out of work a minimum of two-three months. Granddaughter knows her Nana has a big "booboo" and can't pick her up and she tries to help. My mom (88yrs old) had to go to the ER about 3 weeks ago, was in the hospital for a week, begging to go home (back to her apartment in a Senior Living Facility), was discharged and wasn't making good progress at all at home. Then, unexpectedly, had to have my mom transported to the ER Monday nite bout 9:30 p.m. She was put in CCU early next morning and has been there ever since. Prognosis is not good. I try to get up to CCU once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. She's being well cared for but not making any progress. Then to top it all off, was just brushing my teeth yesterday morn, and had a tooth split in half (literally half came out in my hand), with only pressure from tooth brushing. SHEESH..Thank goodness, no pain YET, so hopefully will get in to see dentist first thing tmw morn and then back into the routine. I don't think my mom is going to make it much longer. I've just got a lot on me and would appreciate a prayer for this ole man. Thanks.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Your and yours are added to my DC list.
On a lighter note...before you get your tooth fixed, apply for your KY gun permit...your ID photo will be all you need...

life gangs up on you at times
than when it backs off , as we get older--its just enough time to recharge our batteries for the next round.
each decade of out lives have been defined differently...from getting out of the house
to getting in our own house & family
parting with family as new is arriving
getting ours out of the house.....(circle somewhere here....)
and now our facing mortality--slow at 1st and with surprises
(the hell with my glasses, where are my teeth?)
fixing things one at a time is the best i can do--and trying to minimize overlap.
good luck to you.
and do like ret sys--get that tooth fixed, may be a root canal tooth if you felling no pain.
saddly, a buildup and a crown is a used car amount of money these days...
as i've noticed about others--that they do not always do as i think they will nor often as they say they will.
this not only makes life interesting, it makes it dangerous too.
