    I need your prayers...

I have been having a hard time dealing with my moms passing. She was the sweetest, kindest woman ever. She was always there when I needed her. She was my best friend, but she never upheld her children when they were in the wrong. She never turned anyone that was hungry away.
She was a blessing, and a joy, And I miss her so very much.

I understand your pain. My wife and I took care of my mom the last three years of her life...in our home.
She was a very gracious woman and always thought the best of every situation. She loved her kids and did all she could for them.
Her and I had a special relationship, and having her live with us for her last three years made the passing even worse.
Keep this in mind, would she want you to limit your own life and only worry about her...now that she has no more worries of her own?
Time does heal, even if it doesn't erase memories...you'll always remember the great times...think of her often, but you have to continue on...

For most of my younger adult life, before my mom started living with us, seldom a day went by that I didn't call her. Now, i still think of her pretty often, but it's always the funny times and the laughs we shared.
You'll be able to do the same, also...it just takes time.
Hang in there...added to my DC list.

I lost both my parents to Cancer,They are still with me whenever I have a question I can remember what my parents taught me,they are only a thought away and I cherish the memories good and bad.If they could have stayed, but been in extreme pain and unccomfortable it would be selfish of me to keep them here,I will one day join them and my daughter and granddaughter will have memories they can cherish

Inbound, Pinklady. Do you have a good church family to go to, maybe talk to your pastor?

I noticed you were quiet for a while and assumed you were still grieving. I saw some recent posts from you and hoped you were starting to pick back up. 'Sorry to hear that you're still struggling. I'm praying for you today.

    Prayers sent Ma'am.

    2 Corinthians 4:16-18
16 That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. 17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! 18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
