    Father passed away yesterday

My father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer about 5 weeks ago and lost the battle yesterday. He was 57 years old. I was able to get emergency leave and fly in just in time. My mom kept him on the breathing machine until I got there. I want to thank everyone who was praying for him god bless you all.

Lost my dad at 57 also. Glad you got the chance to say what was needed to be said. It's a roller coaster ride for a while but rest assured, it does get easier over time. Never easy, but easier. If you need to talk, PM me.

    Thank you for your choice.

At least his pain is gone! I lost my dad about 5 years ago, it still hurts, but not as bad. It helps if you remember the good times.
