    Exclamation ExSoldier's Wedding Anniversary

If ever I wished to prove the existence and REALISM of God Almighty I need only point to my wife. The confluence of circumstances that put me in the exact situation (law school) to meet her and fall in love (took about 45 seconds -- just a bit longer to realize the fact) and then neatly remove me to the place where HE in his infinite wisdom called me to serve (school teacher) can only...ONLY be described as "DIVINE."

Further evidence of God's fingerprints on my life can be seen in our dating: First date was to Church. Second date ...to: THE RANGE. If she hadn't liked firearms and understood my passion for them and for my 2nd Amendment activism it'd been adios! For our 1st anniversary she got me a rifle.

Today is our 18th wedding anniversary and I can only pray that each of you....our friends.....can be as BLESSED by Jesus Christ as I feel this day. By the way, the fact that any gal has the ability to put up with my shortcomings for all these years can only be described as totally innundated by a surplus of GRACE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Jim - a testimony to blessedness indeed - and I am well pleased for you.

I am ''second time around'' - and am now into year 7 of extreme happiness - it was in fact as some know, what brought me here. I treasure every day and count my blessings constantly. A gift should never be taken for granted - not for a second.

I also wish the same for all folks - and it is made even better by having a spouse who is supportive of carry and shooting, tho my own wife is not all that active in that area - it still sure beats antagonism!

Thx for sharing your own personal joy

Congratulations...ditto on the firearm thing, my last Ex before meeting my wife was not exactly a firearm enthusiast...and it hampered things, well that and that coke habit she started while I was in the Gulf...ADIOS. And I couldn't be happier with my petite wife who likes to shoot a McMillian .50

ExSoldier, I can identify with you. The Lord placed my wife in my path at exactly the right time. She and I have walked a sometimes twisting path through life together for over 28 years and when I look back it seems like on months. Congratulations on your anniversary and may the Lord give you many more together!

Congratulations ExSoldier. I too can see God's grace in my life through my wife.
I was already a 2 time loser at marriage. I was 30 years old and met a cute, sweet 21 year old from a small town. I figured her parents would do everything in their power to presuade their only daughter from getting involved with someone like me.
Turns out her parents took a liking to me and here we are 22 years later still together.

I'm my mother in law's favorite son in law. I like her too.

Congratulations! I think I know how you feel. If you only knew what my wife has to put up with.

Congrats EX. May you have a lifetime full of happy anniversaries.

Isn't it amazing that God thought so well of you and loved you so much he would bless you with a wonderful wife?

I learned that after going through some miserable relationships and then I finally put it in HIS hands and I met my wonderful wife.
Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!
