1 month and a week since the first one in 60 years we have another city officer shot in the head. Happened at 7:30 AM and suspect was just apprehended a few minutes ago. This is getting old. Yes I knew her too.

Aiken Public Safety Chief Charles Barranco announced this evening that Master Cpl. Sandy Rogers is dead.

Pray that the officer recovers and they find the shooter quickly. It would help if they resisted arrest and were killed in the process.

He is also a suspect in the shooting death of his pregnant girlfriend, who was found dead this morning in her home 4 hours after he had shot the officer. He was coincidentally detained around the same time his first victim was found.

Too bad he didn't resist better , would have saved a trial.
