UPDATE: Possible move home
I let everyone know a couple of weeks ago that I had an interview for a job that would bring us home. The interview went very well.
This last 2 weeks or so was a madhouse for me. I work at a TV station in Indianapolis Indiana. Anyone see the little football game we had here Sunday night?? For the last 2 weeks, we have been setting up, testing and covering the Super Bowl. To give you an idea of how much I worked the last 2 weeks, my paycheck that I will get this coming Friday will have almost 75 hours of over time on it. I'm still tired today from it all.
Anyway, the interview went very well. In the midst of the Super Bowl programming we did, I got a phone call with a verbal job offer. I accepted it and am now in the process of the background checks and drug screen. Once this is completed, if I pass and I should with no problems, I should get a written formal offer and then the move back home to West Tennessee will happen hopefully around the middle of March.
So things seem to be going the way we want them to. I will keep everyone updated as I go through the process.

So, explain this........in the middle of the Super Bowl, when you were working a bazillion hours a week, you got "THE call". Neat! You probably didn't need any coffee after that, eh? I am very happy for you, Mike.

Good to hear, Mike. Home is where the heart is. Good luck, again.

Way to go Mike!

Well, I was thinking of an SR9c or what I really want, a Walther PPQ, but my wife is trying to talk me into saving the money for the hopefully upcoming move. She's right, we probably should save it for that. But I sure would like to have one of those guns.
