    His own target 22 sounds like a winner. Ask him if you could clean it for him. See if he'd like to teach his grandson how to shoot it. Make sue there's shade, and bring along the iced tea. Let him pick a nice, cool day. It's almost irresistible when a boy asks, "Grampa, can we go shooting?"

    Could You get him a .22 kit/slide for the 1911 ?. Same gun less kick, he can win the day and be proud.

    Tell your DAD "SEMPER FI" for me. I was in the Chu Lia area at the same time as he was.

    He doesn't have to shoot to enjoy the generations of his family. Just being there and sharing the companionship, Maybe letting him share some of his life experiences.
