My wife's dad passed away on Friday July 6th after a lengthy battle with prostate and bone cancer. He was 76.
She had gone by herself home to Springfield, IL to be with him and her family when it became apparent he was not going to live much longer. I will be making the trip out there soon.
Please keep Mrs. Jo Jo in your prayers as well as her family, it has been rough on them.
I know the folks here at DC are just the greatest and thank you all in advance for the thoughts and prayers.

My condolences and prayers go out to you and your family. Keep yourself well as your wife will need your support. I just lost my FIL June 21 after a short 6 week battle with lung cancer and it still seems surreal.

I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer 5 years ago. I know what the family has gone through. Please let the family know we are thinking of them and that his suffering is now over and he is watching over them from a far better place.
