Well after studying hard and preparing for the past month, I attended my first Soldier of the Month board, and won by a landslide. I was the only private in attendance, and beat all specialist. Was congratulated by a One Star General earlier today after he found out, pretty cool experience. Studying on top of working 12-14 hour days in Afghanistan has been no easy task, but, its been a rewarding experience. Time to start preparing for Soldier of the Quarter now!
