Just found out from my oldest son, his mother (ex of 30 years) was involved in a bike accident yesterday. Fractured her left hip. She's having surgery on it today, and doctors told them they may need to do a hip replacement.
While things have been bumpy between us for years, she is still the mother of my boys, and there once was a deep love between us. Don't like to think of her suffering. Please keep her in your prayers for a quick and full recovery.

Best thoughts for her recovery. And hip replacement can have a very good outcome. I had rt. knee replaced 14 mos. ago, and while both are pretty rugged procedures, recovery is much easier for a new hip.
