Sorry to hear the news. Our prayers go out to your and your family. Recently I have tried to reconnect with old high school friends. Some I haven't seen in 30 years. One person I wanted to reconnect with was the girl I lived next door to in high school. I found out about 2 weeks ago that she died in 2002 from Cancer. It was caught too late. She only lasted 8 months after she was diagnosed. Stay close to your family.

Thanks to all. She told my wife she has been symptomatic for a year and just hasn't told anyone or done anything. I don't know if it was denial, fear, or what. That doesn't bode well for catching it early. She has a PET scan and appointment with an oncologist next, so we'll know more then. My wife is a nurse, and she finally told her about it a few weeks ago, and she's the one that convinced her to go to someone. I wish she would have said something to her when it first came up.
