Katie is gone

Beautiful eulogy for Katie.

As I sit here reading this my 4 year old Golden Retriever is sitting next to me eyeing the breakfast sandwich I am eating. She knows the lat bite is hers but she is always hopeful for more. It is truly a blessing from God to have such faithful, loving and forgiving companions in our lives.

Rest in Peace Katie.

I feel your pain. I don't have a dog today because it hurt so bad to lose the last one.

Thank you everyone for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. All of the days have been hard and today was no different coming home to an empty house. God bless.

Mine too. Thanks for posting that tribute. It made something, which has to be extremely painful, into something beautiful. May your pain fade away and the joyous memories remain.
