My nephew was murdered this morning
18 years old, his throat was cut by a older man. My neph was one of those who just couldn't get his life together but was never in any major trouble. He had gone back to H S to complete the one class he needed and did so last week We were pretty certain his wild days were behind him. We don't know the whole story but he was killed by an older man, my bet is my nephew stepped in to help a particular girl who we also know. But, we'll find out later today.
Talk about a graphic reminder of whay we carry and why we bother to learn color codes and use them.

Sorry to hear this, I can't imagine the chain of emotions your family is going through.

My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.

My family’s prayers are also with you and yours.
Many times helping another puts us in places and situations we would not otherwise be in.
Troubled path or not if he was trying to help another his true colors were showing.

This sucks, I'm very sorry to hear this and very sorry for your loss.
Not everyone in this world is willing to let people grow up and move on from wilder days; I'd hate to find out that this was someone from his past holding a grudge and not accounting for his efforts to change his life.
I'm in favor of gun control -- I think every citizen should have control of a gun.

My prayers and condolences to you and your family. I had a cousin who died in a house fire when the summer after he graduated from high school back in the early 80's. His mother (also my cousin) still is not over the loss.
