    It was 35 years ago today

    That I joined the U.S. Army. I consider myself a blessed man becaused I served my country and learned a skill that provides for me and my family to this day.

    Thanks for your service from a fellow Screaming Eagle who retired from the Army 35 years ago this past August. I too used my military training in my very rewarding second career.

    You Army guys get all the luck. The only things the Marne Corps taught me would be how to be homeless or would land me in prison!

    Thanks for your service. Joining back in your day wouldn't have been the most popular decision- I'm thankful for those of you that stood up and did the right thing.
