Good News!
To start with, Mrs. Jo Jo Gunn was working for a Freightliner dealership when the owner died suddenly. His stepson was trying to buy the business but could not get approved. Then the widow of the owner sold the business to a competitor. They will be closing soon. It was looking like Mrs. Jo Jo might be the "unemployed" Mrs. after 12/12/2012 but...............
Today she was interviewed by the owners of the new dealership about to take the place of the old one and she has a job with same pay etc. I had been praying that she would continue to work, it's tough to face losing a job in this economy and so close to Christmas.
And on a side note. I work for a County Assessor, been here 21 years and he decided not to run for re-election and retire. There were two candidates attempting to win the election, and the one that I wanted won! So as of 1/3/2013 I will get a new boss and the horribly wrong situations the former Assessor put into place (long story) will soon be corrected and I will actually enjoy working here again. Getting this man in office was a prayer that was answered!
And they say prayer doesn't work. Duh!
Anyway, just excited with the news and thought I'd share.

Great news.
Yes being unemployed at this time of the year is bad so I'm glad the Mrs avoided that.

Great news all the way around. The new owners obviously know a quality employee when they see one.
