Prayer Request
If you could, I'd like you all to keep my Dad in your prayers. Just had a call from my son. Dad had a heart attack this morning. They took him to surgery and placed a stent in one of the arteries. He was in recovery when my son called. He's 93 and a WWII Vet. Spent the war in the Pacific. Will keep you advised as to how he's doing. Thanks.

Hope he is doing well. The care they get today is real good. My grandfather had heart surgery in the 70s and it was very crude by todays standards. Probably will send him home soon!

My dad died at 73 (would have been 83 this year - Dec 14th exactly). Will be praying that yours can hang on as long as possible because it does suck when they finally do go.

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with my son. Dad's up in his room. The blockage was on the right side. Stent opened it up and got good blood flow going. Left side, and the veins were all clear. They replaced his pacemaker while they had him under. His old one was due for replacement in about 2 months, so took care of it at the same time.
Thanks for the prayers. I know it has been said before, but this is truly the best forum out there. While most of us will never meet, we are still a family to each other. God bless you all.

Good news, but I will still add him to my DC list.
