Hey guys! Long time no see.
I know it's been a long, long time since I've posted here. I've been very busy over the past few years. I see some familiar faces here, and lots of new ones. I'm really happy to see how the forum has expanded since I "retired." QKShooter gave me a little smack upside the head, so here I am.
Let's see here. Got married, moved to a bigger house, multiplied a couple times, and am now enjoying being a mom. My oldest is three years old now, and while he's still too little to shoot, he knows he's not allowed to touch guns (not that I leave any out for him to touch) and is a smart little guy. He knows exactly why mommy carries a gun, and he says, "When I get bigger you can teach me." His little sister is only 9 months old, but I can tell she is going to run circles around him. I've decided she is going to be a ninja. Girls have to be these days.
My EDC now is a Colt Cobra. I work from home, so I need something light and out of the way, because I'm constantly on the floor, playing with the kids or picking up crumbs. The grips are heavily modified from the originals. I reduced the width and rounded them off nicely on a table sander. They fit my hands perfectly. The Cobra gets holstered in a Desantis "The Insider" at 2 o'clock. Very comfortable, and nobody sees it when I have to reach over. It gets paired with a Spyderco Manix II.
So hello everybody, great to see you again, and I will be around more.

Not that you'd remember me, but welcome back! It's great to hear the news, and I'm glad to read one of your posts!
"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."

Man, Betty must be pretty cool if SIXTO comes in from the cold to say hi.
Hi Betty. Nice to I-meet you.
I havenít heard any of the journalists who volunteered to be waterboarded asking to have their fingernails wrenched out with pliers, or electrodes attached to their genitals.

Do you folks remember that Betty had pet giant Tarantulas?
Did she have one or two?
My memory is not too very keen when it comes to giant hairy spiders that can shoot sharp irritating barbs out of their arses when they get ticked off.
