Lost a buddy today
I got word that a buddy of mine, a former co-worker in Virginia, died this morning. He had a heart attack Friday afternoon. I had just sent him an e-mail Friday encouraging him to write his legislators. He was 38 years old. He leaves behind his wife, a 5 year old son, and a 2 year old son. He was a good man, a good ol' boy, and he could shoot his scoped Ruger Mark II inside a circle the size of a 50 cent piece from 50 yards all day long. It has been a sad day, and I know many sad days ahead for his wife and kids. Please keep Mick's family in your prayers.
You know, it's not like the world is overrun with good people and yet it seems like we keep losing the good ones. I lost another former co-worker from this same place last Friday...he was a good man too. And last year my father-in-law and my wife's uncle. What a shame.

We should not forget that the spark which ignited the American Revolution was caused by the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonists. -

God bless and sorry to hear this, my family’s prayers are with you, him, and his family.
We just returned from putting my wife brother to rest, also young 35 and two young daughters.
Remember to celebrate in that you were fortunate enough to have known him.

Sorry to hear that. It seems like life can be a double edged sword sometimes. The price we have to pay for loving our family and friends is the pain we feel when we lose them.

Sucks bad! Lost a fraternity pledge brother in a similiar fashion, died of a heart attack in his sleep-43 years old. Left a 13 and 17 year old. A real kick in the nuts. Thoughts are with the families.
