There are many things you can do with a proper chisel set and mallet, dovetail saw, hand planes, that you can not do with power tools. Also, less dust in the air to get into your lungs. (exotic woods and plywood are terrible)

Some might say I collect dogs (with 5 here), I'd say I collect "land mines" from the back yard!

I make and collect fountain pens, ballpoint pens, and rollerball pens. I also collect baseball cards with an emphasis on Texas Rangers.

The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".

We use a biscuit cutter that's been in my family for over 100 years and have my grandparents' working 1949 Admiral television. When I was a kid I watched the Dallas/Green Bay "ice bowl" on that TV in 1967 and also coverage of Apollo 11 in 1969.

Edited to add accordians, seen here sitting on a 1909 Kohler & Campbell piano which is still played.

    Fun thread!
Aw man, you stole my "Pea whistles and accordians" answer!

I have a decent collection of holsters going...

I have 2 Antique Volkswagen Bugs (1962 Hippymobile and a 1963 Herbie the Love Bug). I have sold my 1964 Karman Ghia and my 1979 Corvette.

My Dad bought Herbie in April of 1966 and was our family car when I was growing up. My parents brought me home from the hospital when I was born in that car. Literally the first car I ever rode in. It took me 3 years to restore it.

The Hippy Bug is my retro nostalgia project that I'm painting free hand and doing all of the stuff myself. It rolls together my love of old cars, VWs, 60s music, 60s art, and painting.

I then decided it was much easier to collect Hotwheels and Matchbox VW Bugs than the life size. I have about 200 different ones dating from the late 60s to today. The pics attached are just a very small sample of my display (in my man room, with all of my car trophies and other tacky stuff).

I'd love to see some. I really love the exotic materials used. I bought my husband a buffalo horn one, and he uses it for work.

Here's some of my camera collection. These are just some of the Kodaks; I took this picture when the company folded.

Here's one of my favorites, a Mercury II. It's 1/2 35mm with a rotary shutter.
