Congrats. Now make sure you keep it off. Over the years I have probably lost 200 pounds. Unfortunately I keep putting it back on and then some. I think one secret to keeping it off is doing the type of exercising you are doing (something I seem to have problems doing) , a combination of strengthening and cardo. Keep up the good work.
Congratulations. Keep it up.

WOW! What an inspiration! I have just been told the good news and the bad news by the folks over at the V.A. Hospital: The good news is that I don't have diabetes. The bad news is that I have two choices for my life: Continue to eat in the manner in which I have been since 1984 when I left active duty....OR I can play with my grandkids whenever they come along. Well.....GULP. I'm on a VA supervised diet and I have to go over and weigh in. The civilian young gal that runs it is tough as nails and has heard EVERY excuse in the book. So here goes. I hope I can emulate your success. How long did it take? Do you drink like GALLONS of water every day?

Congrats... I'm in the process of slimming down myself... It's hard work, but with determination it can be done as you can attest to.
