Thank you, Patti. He's been gone several years, but thought about him especially today. Korea and Viet Nam veteran....
An American Hero...............may god bless him.
Your Dad is still watching over us. With alot of Hero's Thank you to all the Men & Women that have served past and present.
Wow, Korea and Vietnam. Young people today don't understand or appreciate the sacrifices men like your Dad and his families made. I had the honor of sharing a beer with Korea Veteran a few weeks ago. I sat and talked with him for a couple hours. An amazing man from an amazing generation...I'm sure your Dad was cut from the same amazing cloth. Here's to your Dad and all of our amazing Veterans on Memorial Day.

I miss my dad today and on his birthday. He would have been 83 this past March.
He was a Korean vet, as was his older brother Ray.
My dad had it easy as he knew some guys there who got him into playing baseball for the officers and dignitaries, and then when baseball was all done they asked if he knew how to play volleyball, and he said "no, but I'm gonna learn real fast".
My uncle was an MP on the Han river, and wasn't so fortunate, and he remembers it turning red sometimes, as the fighting upstream would be ungodly sometimes.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Dad a few years ago. Bless him for his service to our country. The greatest generation is rapidly leaving us and that's a real shame.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
Prayers and thoughts for you missing your father.

Sorry to hear about your loss
A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.
Prayers have been made for you all.....may God comfort and keep you during this time of grief. God bless you all.....

My father was also a vet. Vietnam 65-66. He died Feb 1, 2007, and I think about him everyday.
Godspeed to our fathers.
Stop whining and go do something that makes a difference!
If you think that I may be talking to you, then I am.
