I watched my yearly videos all this week - "The Longest Day" & "Band of Brothers".
The Greatest Generation really did the job in WW II.

Words seem so worthless for such a valiant effort and cause...
Remembering, to me, is one of the ways in which we can help people who are so significant, live forever. Obviously it is only in a sense, but these are the folks that need never be forgotten.

My wife will be discussing the day with her students. She takes extra steps to make sure her classes are well informed of history and its meaning.
